Our Story – Beliefs and Mission

Our Beliefs

We believe that responsible human beings and societies are structured around the following commonly held values:

  • family and community responsibility
  • respect and appreciation for the natural world
  • service and stewardship
  • the necessity for work and productivity
  • an intentional commitment to goodness

Enterprises, both for-profit and not-for-profit, carry a responsibility to create and pursue missions that reflect and further the above-stated values and thus protect the common goodness and best interests of all people.

Organizational leaders can achieve, through mindfulness and intention, an integration of the shared values above with the aims of their enterprises, including high performance and profit.

Values-centered organizations and leaders are sustained by open learning environments where all people can contribute to their fullest and by actions that are consistent with their beliefs and their values.

Our Mission

To research, develop, and market continuous, experience-based learning models for use in values-centered leadership and organizations

To teach leaders the craft of integrating organizational, financial, and social good through a practicum called The Seven Intentions® of Values-Centered Leadership.

To create an ongoing fellowship of Seven Intentions practitioners and teams that provide opportunities for sharing values-centered experiences, stories, and best practices.

To evolve and improve our services through ongoing assessment, learning, and sharing of experience.

To collaborate and build alliances with all those exploring ways to shape for-profit and not-for-profit enterprises to integrate financial, organizational, and social values.

To employ goodness, caring, and celebration in all of our affairs as a demonstration of the added value created by the integration of social, organizational, and financial aims.
